About Serenity Sage

Founder of the UnYes Movement | Voice of the Unheard | Shepherd of Sibling Restoration

“I was never meant to be silent. I was born to be the echo of every child who thought no one heard them cry.”

I am Serenity Sage, but I was forged through fire.

Born into a world that forgot my name and labeled me “foster,” I am the result of every closed door, every unanswered prayer, every courtroom that got it wrong. But I am also the result of a God who never let go. A God who met me in silence, in shelters, in survival—and whispered: “I’m still here.”

I am not here to play it safe. I am here to speak for the trees, the torn-apart siblings, the misunderstood survivors, and the ones who didn’t make it. I am the big sister for every child who needed one. I am the Lorax. The Malcolm X. The Martin. The Mandela. The Esther called for such a time as this.

This movement was never about me. It was about us—the millions of youth who were renamed by systems that never knew their story. The ones raised in paperwork, not love. The ones who were told to be resilient when they needed rescue. The ones who had to “earn” stability instead of being embraced in it.

But I don’t just carry pain—I carry promise.
The UnYes Movement is my answer to the lies we were told. It is the reversal of every “no” spoken over us. It is the bold, loud, unapologetic YES to identity, to family, to healing, to faith, to justice, to God.

Who I Am

  • A foster youth survivor turned warrior for reform.

  • A creator of systems that restore, not destroy.

  • A woman of God, led by the armor of Ephesians 6:10.

  • A visionary, building YES Houses, sibling reunification ministries, trauma-informed curricula, and business models that give dignity back to the forgotten.

  • A mother in the spirit, to every young one who needs someone to see them.

  • A founder of Siblings United, Old English Transportation, Earn My YES™, and a thousand more things that started with nothing but a mustard seed of faith.

Why I Move

Because silence almost killed me.
Because I’ve watched toddlers be separated from their siblings like luggage.
Because no one ever explained what was happening to me.
Because the system raises children in its own image, then blames them when they become parents.
Because trauma should never be a prerequisite to strength.

My Foundation

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God…”
Ephesians 6:10–11

This movement stands on the rock.
Not trends. Not titles. Not politics.
We walk in truth, love, order, and accountability. We un-YES the false labels and restore the God-given name of every child, mother, father, and soul willing to believe again.

What I’m Building

  • A safe return to family.

  • A network of healing.

  • A community where foster youth live, work, love, and thrive—without shame.

  • A space where aunties and uncles teach trades, not just trauma.

  • A platform that unites celebrities, churches, survivors, and everyday people to do what the system couldn’t: restore the soul.

Final Word

If you’re reading this, you’re part of the movement now.
Don’t just support us. Walk with us.
Don’t just watch us. Build with us.
Don’t just admire the change. Be it.
Let your YES be your offering. Let your NOs be unlearned. And let every child you encounter know they are seen, they are heard, and they are never alone again.
